Today we want to present users (and future users) of Mobitee to a huge new list of golf courses we’ve just added our gps app.
As you may have noticed, we like to focus our golf blog each week on one unfamiliar and alluring vacation destination. That being said, inaugurated in the year 1967, Son Servera is one of approximately four hundred and seventy golf courses in Spain and is the second oldest golf course on the island of Mallorca, located in the Mediterranean Sea.
Son Servera golf course has been attracting players from all around the world. Originally created as a nine-hole course, a brutal tempest took down several thousand pine trees and in 2012 this easily walkable “tester” (‘no buggies available”) became a welcome challenge for locals and visitors with well laid out fairways and fast greens.
Only minutes away from the resorts of Cala Bona and Cala Millor, Son Servera is surrounded by mountains and the sea and is set in a serene section of Costa de los Pinos.
Son Servera demands accuracy off the tee and bunkers abound but at the same time it is possible for players of all handicaps to have a fun round.
